About Silver State
Who we are
Silver State Renovations was founded five years ago on a simple idea: too many painting jobs are rushed, and homeowners deserve better. Built on more than 15 years of industry experience, our Auckland-based crew works to a straightforward standard. We turn up when we say we will, do the job properly, and stand behind every finish.
The same experienced team that quotes your job paints it. We don’t subcontract your work to whoever’s cheapest that week, so you know who’s on site and what to expect from start to finish.
Specialist finishes
Porter's Paints specialist finishes
Porter’s Paints make finishes that standard paint can’t replicate. Stone textures, lime renders, metallic effects. We’re building our portfolio of Porter’s work right now and are actively looking for the right projects.
Stone Paint
Mineral finish (fine or coarse) creating natural texture and depth interior and exterior.
French Wash
Soft, layered feature wall effect with movement and tonal variation beyond standard paint.
Fresco
Traditional lime-based matte coating with natural stone-like variation for architectural surfaces.
Liquid Iron & Instant Rust
A reactive system that produces an authentic rusted metal effect.
Wood Wash
A water-based stain for liming timber.
Liquid Copper & Patina Green
A metallic coating system designed to oxidise and develop a natural aged patina.
